Seems like I always need the chainsaw when I’m doing tractor work. For a while I’d just put it in the bucket, but forgot it was there once. That didn’t work out so well. So today I installed the Sawhaul thingamabob. Seems like it ought to work out Ok. Anybody else have one, and are there any problems I need to know about before I run into a problem.

What is it? 'Always looking for equipment to spend my children's inheritance on. Googled. Oh, a scabbard basically. (Very broad price variance on Amazon??)

Had one on an ATV back in the day. It worked but you better make sure your gas cap doesn't leak.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

I have seen them on ATV's and I think one for on a tractor would be a good idea.

I have one that mounts on the side of the bucket and runs off the tractor hydraulics. It reaches a lot higher than if someone was in the bucket and much safer. It has a 13 inch bar that will reverse. I only use it on one of my tractors that has a canopy that will fold back. That way you're not having to look under the top of the canopy to see the saw. Works like a charm. It's called The Limbinator.
Character is what you do when nobody's looking.

I built my own, has a sleeve inside so the blade is protected. Use it all the time.
