I have diet Dr Pepper with my breakfast and diet Coke with my lunch each day. I buy the in the 2 liter bottles. They are usually priced a little of either side of $1.50. I picked up one of each three weeks ago and went through the self checkouts. The both scanned $1.74. I let it go rather than call for a clerk. Same thing happened last week I also, had beer so I was at a register with a clerk. I called her attention to the pricing difference., and urged her to get the shelf price changed. Will do she replied. I had produce today so I used the clerk again. Guess what? She changed the price and I asked for the manager. The manager apologized and gave me a $10 gift card. I seldom check. Do you ever? Let it go or get it changed?

I get it changed EVERY TIME. Its funny...........I never get charged less. The errors always run in their favor, and that's no error.

The only place I've ever been charged less is Academy.

Back before they were sold stuff would be screwed up all the time. Got a Falcon lowrider rod for $12.99....a $129 rod! Too bad it was the last one.

At the grocery store it always goes the other way.

Artificial sweetener is terrible for you Bill. Might as well drink the real stuff or don't drink it at all.

Cabela’s up here in Allen has overcharged me 3 different times. The first two I didn’t notice till I got home. 1st time I let it go, 2nd time I drove back up and got my money back... 3rd time I was expecting it and caught it at the register. You better watch.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...................then the errors should run both ways. The charge is never less/its always more.

It is part of their business model.

You're one of those that does, what I call "the Walmart stop" after you check out, aren't you? (Easily observed at Costco too.) Admit it! You block everyone else while you check your receipt with that "I know they screwed me!" scowl on your face. roflmao

The thing I hate about grocery stores now is there is no longer any night stocking. 'Gotta do it at the busiest times. And those kids are getting more and more surly when you need something where they are. realmad

It happens every time on bulk price items at Home Depot. I always make them change it.

Remember when Kroger used to do the "if the price rings up wrong, it's free." I don't think anyone does that any longer. Back when I was first starting out and had to count every penny, I brought a calculator with me to the grocery store and would check every price and make sure the register matched my calculator. I also carried a box with all my coupons in it and it would take hours to shop. Today, I've been blessed and as long as the price is in the neighborhood of what I'm expecting, I take the receipt and go. My kids and I actually play a game at the store when we checkout to see who can guess the final total. After 35+ years of grocery shopping, I'm usually within a couple of dollars.

I buy prime tenderloin at Kroger frequently. It rings up wrong every time and I mean every time. It's usually about $4.00/lb higher than posted. When I call it to their attention, they never can seem to fix it. Most of the time they'll give up trying to get it right and just plug in the choice price. You really have to watch it. I hate getting screwed. And no I don't ust the drive thru either.

I always keep an eye on the ring up price. And no, I've never had a wrong price go in my favor.

First I find out you can't read books without pictures. Now I find that you don't do math. Its was a dollar per trip for three trips. Bet you worst three years of school was third grade.
