Can't remember seeing a lengthy thread with photos of bucks that appeared to have made it through the season. I'll be checking my camera later this week to see what may have walked in front of my stand, literally.

This is my first season to hunt so I’m no expert but I’m not getting near as many bucks on cam as I was during the actual season. It’s like the deer activity vanished other than the occasional 2am doe pictures.

These two studs made it

Winter grass or mesquite rye is everywhere in pastures and if your near wheat, that’s where they are!

I don’t have any cameras out but I went out last Saturday afternoon hoping to shoot a pig and saw a very nice 10 point that I had never seen all season, he was a mature deer that I wouldn’t have passed up during the season. Hopefully he will show next season.

I still have acorns dropping at my house.....

No bucks yet but did catch this guy passing through.

Lord I hope not. Been watching a few all season that I just might cry if they got shot. They haven't showed up the last 2 runs of the cams.... but im gonna blame it on a camera malfunction and dead camera batteries at this point lol at least that's what im telling myself.

Mature buck numbers really suffered this year with only a handful that seem to have made it thru the season. The last 2 weeks of the season there were several that were killed that I wished could have made it thru.

Us and our neighbors killed nothing except a few doe so they must have lived. The decent ones we had on cam only came middle of night early season. Saw a few nice ones passing by for a second with zero shot. I got my 145 last year so didn't care. Haha.

1-3 made it through 17/18, 18/19 and he's gonna make it through 19/20. 4-5 is another survivor. Sure hope his fours lengthen and his forks deepen. Saw each quite a bit. The forked horn buck was quite the lady's man - a very good thing.

Still trying to get a grip one each of their ages.

The one in the first picture jumped in to a about a 15 acre trap where I have some yearling Ibex Billies. He has been in there for a couple of months so it looks like he is going to stay now that the rut is over. We shall see what he looks like this year in the fall. The second Buck is in the back pasture where I take hunters. He jumped in about 4 years ago and still has not been shot. His antlers have not changed much in those 4 years. He was a 11 point for a couple of years and now is a 10.

They didn’t all get shot. I saw at least 30 bucks this afternoon between Haskell and Throckmorton. Two were giants. One was a 160+ deer at 1:00-130 in the afternoon. I guess the nice weather brought them out to kick up some snow, big daddy was right in the middle of a pasture and didn’t spook when I pulled over.

Every whitetail that made it thru the Anthrax on our place got a pass this season and rightfully so. All that remains or what has traveled to us seems to be a couple dozen does, a handful of 100-110 eight points, and a ton of spikes (had literally no spikes before on 3000+ acres)

We have a lot of does but I don't keep the pics of does to share with lease members. Almost all the does seemed to have twins this past yr as well and many still hanging with mom. Shot 2 does last weekend at the Pitchfork. With a wet spring next yr should be outstanding.

Been watching this one for 2 years I think. He was pretty regular pre and during season, but disappeared the last month or so. Hope he made it. We think he was 4 and gave him a pass.
