Thanks for posting this. Looked Skinny Tuba up on Amazon and found this gem. Not sure what official genre it is but there are some good tunes, downloaded a few to my prime library.

That's a soprano sax. Kenny G's stuff is putrid, but it's not the instrument's fault. And, he made a TON of money with that sickly sweet stuff.

During my formative years my parents made a failed attempt to be sophisticated, to showcase their newfound sophistication they would blare Kenny G at every opportunity whenever we had guests over as well as during any and every holiday one would celebrate.

I’m not a jazz aficionado by any measure but I would assume that Kenny G is the jazz equivalent to mainstream pop music...churn out the hits as fast as they can record them.

Tuba Skinny is real good stuff. A very talented group of musicians.
