Looks like we're going to get a pretty good snow, they're saying as much as 8 inches. That's just what these dry pastures are needing.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

We now have a good coating of sheet ice with snow coming down and thunder and lighting show. Y'all be careful in the morning. If you are headed west, I would suggest changing your plans.

They cancelled my kids school mid day yesterday. I came to work extra early to avoid all the idiots driving 30 mph with their blinkers on because the weatherman said it was a blizzard. So far it is dry and above freezing.

If your really wanting to get them in the ground, line the ground with black plastic and cover with clear plastic. The black plastic will help heat up the ground and the clear plastic will keep the frost off. I have not seen significant evidence to sway me either way. They grow so fast and are so tender to frost, Ill just wait
