That was with the 900 and I pretty much had it maxed out. Bad light, truck was running and I was at the end of my focal range, not a picture I'm happy with but at least I got a pic.

Im not sure that there ARE more sightings now except in this one example. If there are then I would not think its because of less pressure. I would just think they got hungrier. Their internal clock knows and yep January/Feb they are out for groceries (plus it is usually consistently colder all night)
