This is what I'm working with. This is what it should look like and the bit I'm using to try and back it out. T55 bolt & a #10 extractor. I don't think I can get vice grips around the sides. I'm not sure about drilling it. There's just under 4.5mm to work with and it's the cap to my transmission. Punching through would drop shavings in there. Thoughts?

You can’t get it out because it’s booger’d up so bad you can’t get the Torx bit in there? Or it’s seized up so bad, it won’t break free?
Seems like a little fine filing is in order first

squirt some penetration oil on it and let it sit. drill small hole and use bolt extractor . If you can you , you can also cut a slot and use a screw driver. cur slot with dremel

OP, tap, and I mean LIGHTLY tap the bit in once it’s lined up, assuming you’ve cleaned the junk out

If you can you , you can also cut a slot and use a screw driver. cur slot with dremel I sprayed oil and tapped with a hammer. Waited a few hours and repeated several times. No luck. I can't drill it as it's the transmission fill hole. Shavings would drop into the case.

You dont need to drill all the way through just enough to catch some threads of the extractor. Clean off before your remove the screw

OP, tap, and I mean LIGHTLY tap the bit in once it’s lined up, assuming you’ve cleaned the junk out I used computer duster and tapped it. It bit in and then tore more out once I started turning.

If you can reach it with a dremel, you can cut a notch and back it out with a common Screwdriver.
Another a creative option is to tack weld a bolt to it.

I've tried everything mentioned in the thread thus far. There's a bracket that's blocking it somewhat. I think I'm going to remove it and try to get some vice grips around it. If not, notch it and find the widest flathead out there.

apply some heat to it after you get better access to it (vise grips or notch)

This what I use for stripped screws. It has worked every time so far for me. I got mine at Lowes.
