Was on a property today that had a picture history of family deer hunts ( different property than the one I was on)

The ranch was outside of Seguin in Guadalupe county.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

That is amazing. My Grandparents had a farm between Seguin and Marion and though it was mostly farm land there was some brush. I saw a few tracks but never saw a Deer there. This was in the 1960's and 70's.

They must have used a stun gun... I don't see any bullet holes. A 222 or 22 hornet doesn't mess them up that much. Our old land lady shot a 22 hornet most deer shot in the neck looked like a bee stung them shot in the head may or may not have a puffy eye that was it.

There are a couple in there that wouldn't make AR requirements today.

But still nice.

Sure looks like a turkey to me. Looks like there is another one at the end of the same pic.

Good eye. Didn't even notice that one.
