Well I found one to go next to the coke machine. Guy wanted to much for it so I talked him down to 250. Of course he didn’t have the key.

Machine was in rougher shape than I wanted but. There was still product in it that was old as hell and he didn’t have the key and tried to drill the lock so I took a gamble that there was money in it. I did plug it in and test it and both the bill acceptor works and the coin mechanism works.




Between the money in the coin mechanism, the coin box, and cash we had a $127 dollars and some change in the machine.

I did have to drill the lock out.

Saw your pm earlier, but was busy and didn’t get a chance to reply. Looks like you bought an older A/P snack shop vender. Should be a good machine and believe it or not, there are still companies that support these machines if needed. Clean it up, mask off everything you don’t want to paint, get a good heavy coat black paint, don’t spray it, sounds funny, but use a roller, what we have found gives the best textured and durable finish, and looks great. I took a chance on it. Found it in cl. It’s a snacktron machine from crane. Both the coin and dollar bill acceptor works so I took a a chance. I just got a new dollar bill acceptor for my old royal coke machine so now I will have both side by side. Their a little rough but the coke machine has already well paid for itself and this snack machine. I’ll get it all cleaned up more tomorrow and fix a few small things with it then fill it up.

Those are penny gumball machines. We had one in the lobby of an office I worked at, it easily brought in about $10 a month.

Well I got it working and cleaned up. Still have a couple bugs to work out and need to put anew lock in it. But now we’re in business
