An “Antiques Roadshow” guest in West Fargo, N.D. literally fell backward when he learned the estimated worth of a Rolex he paid $345.97 for while in the Air Force in 1974. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Y4bmbh1KY&feature=emb_logo

The real crazy thing is, $700k may be a low estimate.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Good for him, Now, who of you have bought a watch and not worn it and have kept all the associated documents regarding the sale plus boxes etc. ? Especially if you made about what he made and then spend on the watch ? Again, Good for him

The real crazy thing is, $700k may be a low estimate. Wow, that's incredible. Does that make you feel insignificant? it does me. To know I would be in a 30 year note to buy something for $700,000 and here there are enough people to create a market to drive the price of something as simple as a wrist watch up to that value. Wow the common man just doesn't matter lol

I was kinda thinking the same thing watching the Barrett Jackson auction the other day. I saw one guy buy a few different cars like it was nothing. There are some really really rich people in the world.

The real crazy thing is, $700k may be a low estimate. Agree. At Christie's or Heritage I would think it would do well over seven figures. This watch, although worn BY Paul Newman, just sold for $17.8m. This one in pristine condition may not pull near that but I don't think it would have a problem going over $1m easily.....
