Does a 150 year old BP shotgun require the same shipping method as a modern day shotgun in an out of state sell?

Black powder guns aren’t considered to be “firearms” so no 4473 or shipping restrictions.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Most folks who ship BP firearms, ship USPS and stay away from UPS. UPS has a history of damaging them during shipment.
UPS is very difficult to get your money back when a firearms is damaged.
Ship insured for actual value, tracking number and Adult Signature on delivery, this ensures that it is not left on the door step.
Some states have restrictions and you cannot ship BP firearms to them.
