HuntFly67 has. Was talking to him about them the other day. I’m thinking about ordering a pair.

Good looking boots. The calf skins look comfortable.

The link said they are made in Mexico.
Check out Rios. All I wear and they are made here in Texas.
A little on the higher priced boot, but quality made and very comfortable.
Just my 2cents

Keep your money in North Texas

They put money back into the community and are a better boot IMO.

Of course they don’t spend the kind of money on advertisement the other company does.

I've got a pair. Bought them at the store in Dallas. Great people there (free drinks while you shop) and great boots. Felt like they were already broke in when I tried them on. Very comfortable. I want to get another pair.

They are great boots and have outstanding customer service. The uppers aren’t as fancy as the other brands but unless you were Capris it doesn’t matter.

Look at Anderson Bean if you want a comfy boot. Or if you want the same fit, but a little better quality, check out Rios of Mercedes.

Saw these at DSC this year. I don't wear cowboy boots and, to me, that's not even what these are. They are art. I would like to have turned them to get more pictures. Was also curious of the price.

I have a question I'm probably going to get jumped on for sounding like PETA. Seems like every boot company out there makes an elephant boot. Where are all the elephant hides coming from?

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2017/12/wildlife-watch-zimbabwe-elephant-skins-trade/#close

Quote
Tenashe Farawo, the chief spokesman for the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authority (ZimParks), the leading hide supplier, says the largest source is actually “elephants we have had to put down because of conflicts with humans.” This has been described by critics and officials alike as “culling” to control elephant overpopulation, but Farawo disputes the term: “We last did culling in the 1980s,” he says, adding that the second source is natural mortality.

Worldwide, hide exports have held steady or grown during the past decade, far surpassing those in preceding years. In 2007-16, according to CITES data (which are recorded inconsistently), Zimbabwe and South Africa together exported the whole hides of 38,858 elephants plus another 609,000 square feet and 21,504 pounds of skins and leatherwork. At an average 20 square feet per processed hide, these would represent more than 30,000 elephants.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which regulates wild animal imports, and a leading conservation organization, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), essentially concur. “The problems with African elephants do not center around the legal skin/leather trade,” WWF’s wildlife practice policy manager, Colman O’Criodain, said in an email. “The problem lies with unsustainable demand—principally in China—for ivory.”

Not sure but one skin can make maybe 2 million pairs of boots. grin

Africa, Southern Asia and India,my guess is most come from culling and hunting, maybe some of our African Outfitters can chime in.

you also likely get 5-10xs more boots on of 1 elephant compared to one gator.
