I've got a lot of room being taken up in my range bag with pistol mag "assistants," and it's a real pain to dig around and find the one for that caliber and that make of pistol! I finally found one that really does work on everything from 9mm to .45ACP. And it really does work as advertised! I have tried it with 9mm, .357, 10mm, .40, and .45, my Ruger 57 and my Tok 7.62 X 28; double stack and single stack, all different makes and models! I'm loving it and have just retired my stash of loaders. This one is made by maglula, the company that makes a lot of different loaders, and is call the UpLULA. What a great product; and I highly recommend it if you get sore thumbs loading up mags by hand, or are tired of trying to match loader with product type. https://www.maglula.com/product/uplula-9mm-to-45acp

I’ve got one of those. The only time I ever used it was when I had a broken hand and couldn’t use my left thumb.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

The one for 10-22 works great also.

I just spent a few minutes trying it on all the magazines I could lay my hands on, and it worked beautifully with the following mags:
Kimber S&W Springfield SCCY ATI GIrsan Wilson Combat Chip McCormick Tokarov HiPoint Ruger But one of them would not work, and that was the magazine for my new Ruger 57! (In my original post, I stated that it would work with the Ruger 57; my bad.) The mag is too long, front to rear. However, Ruger does include a load assist tool with each pistol.
So it may not be "Universal," but it's close enough for me!!

IMO they are the best. There is an attachment for a single stack mag (like a 45). Also use one for a 22 mag that is dedicated to that round. Their mag loaders are good. Use them for some rifle rounds.
It's not what you say, or think, that counts. It is what you DO!

Use them for some rifle rounds. I saw that attachment for the single stack 45's but went ahead and tried it on my single stackers and it worked just fine! Not sure what the attachment does; possible square the mag up in the well of the load assistant? But, anyway, try the original on you single stacks before you buy the attachment! I've go their 22mag assist on order to help get all 30 of those little cartridges stuffed into the magazines! It can be a real killer on cold days!!!

I have a couple of KelTec 22 Mag firearms: the PMR30 and the CMR30. Love 'em both, but loading 30 rounds into those magazines can take a lot of the fun out of shooting them. Especially on cold days when my ugly old arthritic hands are acting up. The first 10 rounds go in smoothly; next 10 are a bit tougher; the last 10 are miserable to load even with the "assist" devices I've purchased in the past. Yesterday I took delivery of an American Speedloader tool that was designed specifically for the KelTec products, and the darned thing actually works! I loaded up 3 mags to the full 30 round capacity, with a variety of ammo, as fast as I could feed the rounds into the reloader, and then took them out this morning and went through all 90 rounds without a single failure! Really impressive. Any of you who have either or both of these products and are finding no joy in loading up the mags, need to consider getting one them. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...4586C89003C7A36F6EC74586C8&FORM=VIRE

That's all it does is square up the mag with the loader. Not a "necessity" although I have too much stuff that is not a "necessity"!
It's not what you say, or think, that counts. It is what you DO!

Dang! I thought that's what kids were for. I use them and grand kids for reloading the mags that they empty! A bit harder to get them to fill 'em when they're not around or haven't done the shooting!
