The wife, a top notch cook, sometimes gets wild and crazy and cooks a new something that’s great and sometimes something that’s strange and not so great. But, this time she got it right. Her air fryer venison jerky is terrific. And to think I used to make fun of that air fryer...

My wife just got a new air fryer and is trying just about everything in it. So far all hits! I would be interested in your wife's method and recipe.

Jimbo, my wife would love to provide the recipe, which was on Pinterest. But...the site got blocked due to spam, so she lost the recipe. Why she wouldn’t print it off, I don’t know, but when I asked that, she snarled at me. She found a similar recipe, but it wasn’t “the same”. Soooo, I’m not sure where we are right now.

She says to google up Ninja hot air fryer beef jerky recipe, and that’s a good one though she says the Pinterest recipe was a bit better. And note that it does not, per the wife, need to cook 7 hours, but more like 4 hours. I’m thinking the time varies with a lot of factors, so cook it till It’s right instead of what she says.

Update: go to Homestead Survival Site, go to recipes, pull up ‘how to make beef jerky in an air fryer’. That’s the exact (good) recipe she used.
