I am looking for a place to bow hunt axis deer with a friend. I’m coming from New Orleans, so east Texas would be preferred. Meals are not necessary. Lodging would be nice, if available. Looking to spend around $2000 a piece. Any suggestions?

If you don’t mind a little further drive I’d recommend hunting with Pope Brothers out of Junction. They will put you on a stud axis, have some of the best low fence country around.

Doesn't matter on high or low fence.
