Figured I'd start now with the hope of getting on one for the 2020/21 season for my kids. We have been doing the TPWD youth hunts and will continue to, but I would really like a more permanent location to spend more time at.

Looking for a lease, prefer Nacogdoches, Angelina, Houston, Panola, Shelby, San Augustine or Sabine Counties, year round access and family friendly (no alcohol, craziness or general wild antics). My kids are 6, 10 and 11 and would hunt on my allotted deer.

Hogs and turkeys would be great as well, MLD would be nice but not looking for trophy class hunting, just a place to set up camp and spend quality time with my kids in the woods.

I have leases in two of the counties you are interested in but not sure yet if I will have any openings yet. I will keep an eye on this thread if I get something open.

Thanks Russ79, appreciate the info and keeping me in mind! I’ll check out that leasing site as well. I know there are a lot of leases around the area but figured I’d come to you all first and get honest info!
