Just wanted to share a great experience with the forum. My 10 yo daughter and I hunted Atlanta SP this past weekend and even though we only saw a couple of tails, we had an absolute blast. I hope she made some memories with her dad that she will always look back on with fondness! I know it was one of the best hunting trips I have ever had! Not too many animals taken, I think 2 deer and one hog, the staff there were great and made the kids feel right at home. Many thanks to them and my hat's off to them, they were there from 5:30 AM until the last hunter got in around 6:30 pm. Great folks and a great place if you have youngsters! We camped at the park, glad I brought the camper instead of a tent since it was rather chilly! My little huntress!

Went there about 10 years ago with a young girl we called granddaughter even though she was no kin but she still calls us grandma & grandpa. She now has 3 kids & all grown up she thinks. We did not see a thing but it was a good hunt. 2 years later she hunted with me on a game ranch & killed a doe & 2 yotes.

My brother and I were drawn a few years ago. Probably 4 deer taken out of 12-13 hunters. Had a great time and saw a beauty of a 8pt but it was doe-spike only hunt. The Ranger/warden, Mike, I forgot his last name, went out of his way to make sure we had a good hunt. Enjoyed talking with him as much as the hunt itself.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
