Any one else brown bag it to work? As much as I hate being inside, today's weather does make me glad I work in an office. This stuff is pretty good, and simple to mix up, with basically anything you want to throw at it.

I made chili two days ago. I made a pot of Great Northern beans yesterday and mama made Mexican cornbread. We’re having chili, beans and Mexican cornbread for lunch. Got a fire going too.

Sure.
I always eat at work while working.
They let me leave 1 hr early because of that, avoiding rush hour

I brown bag it 3 to 4 days a week. Today I brought some of my wife's leftover Homemade Chicken Noodle soup with Saltine crackers and a Yogurt.
Right before lunch I ran to Wallymart and went by their deli hammer Brought back two pieces of Fried Chicken, Smashed taters and gravy with home fries. Never had a problem with high blood pressure or Cholesterol until maybe right now laugh

Add mayo, relish and chopped apples and jalapeños then smear it on a bun. Good stuff up

That stuff goes on my salads all the time. Always have a few bags with me while hunting too, works well in a tortilla.

My wife eats the stuff, I call it cat food.

And yes I often brown bag it, otherwise I don’t eat unless it’s $2 or less.

Before I retired I took my lunch over 90% of the time. We had a cafeteria onsite but it was expensive and was hit or miss at best as far as I was concerned. Leftovers or sandwiches most of the time but since I was on call 24/7 I kept some canned goods in my locker along with vacuumed sealed meat in a freezer. It's amazing how much money brown bagging saved over 42 years.
