has or did anyone hunt the aquilla lake area this year? if you did, what kind of luck did you have??

I hope they had better luck than I had at whitney. Killed one doe and feel lucky to have gotten that
Acorns everywhere. I have killed some big deer on aquila but has been about 5 years ago.

How’s the pressure on Aquila? Seems like there’d be decent water access.

It is public hunting so has it's fair share of pressure. Put the work in. Scout alot and you can kill deer.

Not to hijack your thread, but has anyone hunted turkey at either Whitney or Aquila? Not looking for spots, just a general idea of where to start. I haven't hunted either yet.

They are all over go scout some units have more than others
. I never have any luck after opening weekend. They always get super call shy
