Loved him. Took a picture at his front door when I was in London a few years ago.

Benny, live in a place called Tickenham…. (or some such place)…
When they found him deceased..... He was surrounded, by
100's of thousands of uncashed checks...………
If I remember right, he live in the same second floor apt.
most of his adult life...…. That's all I got...………..

I used to work with a CO at TDCJ that could have been his twin brother.

Even the inmates called him Benny Hill lol.

Just my .02,

I used to like it when I was a kid. Thought he was funny always slapping the old guy on top of his head. Kinda childish corny humor, but it made me smile

My wife had a friend that was a British war bride, she did not have cable so my wife would tape the show and then invite her to watch the shows, it became a regular gathering, and my intro to Benny Hill.

One of the members of Monte Python passed away not long after I made this post(Terry Jones). I guess I better not make any posts about the old-timers on this forum, could be bad luck!

I enjoyed the show, the skits got repetitive after awhile, but they still made me laugh.

First boobs I ever saw on TV. Early 1980's he was on the local PBS channel later at night. We had 4 channels so I watched it a lot and couldn't believe my eyes.

Was big time for a 13 year old way before Al Gore invented the internet.
