The annual West Texas Knapp-In will be held this weekend at the Roaring Springs Community Center and a master Flint Knapper will return for the event. Folks if ya haven't been to one of these it's worth the time, went to my first Knapp-in almost 45 years ago. Most of the old knappers are gone now but some of the younger guys have taken knapping to a whole new level. It's worth it just to watch and ask question. Humans have been banging on rocks for over 100 thousand years, it's in our DNA.
