Tin Head, I posted this on your off topic post and want to post it here too... you were not "wrong" for voicing your concern. We should all be extremely concerned with the consistent push against the 2nd Amendment and protecting our rights as free Americans. They are still trying to push the measures through and it's not over and the push continues... There were way too many indicators that something nefarious was in the works for folks to not be concerned. CNN reported early in the day that the attendance was about 500. A local (Virginia) news station reported 22,000 (6,000 on the grounds and the remainder flooding the nearby streets). Those high numbers were backed by aerial footage of the protest. When the neo nazi/white supremacists were arrested recently, the liberal media turned it into a racial event - proven wrong be the attendance of many folks of all races. There was a lot of underground talk even a month ago of Antifa and MS13 planning activity relating to the event. Thankfully none of that came to fruition. I saw a fantastic video of the protesters proudly singing the National Anthem in unison.

Click the link and video to see how main stream media spun this, disgusting. After a peaceful Monday rally by Second Amendment activists in Richmond, Virginia, CNN and MSNBC deserved thoughts and prayers seeing as how their fear-mongering about “violence” a la Charlottesville by “thousands” of “heavily armed” “guns rights activists, white nationalists, militia groups swarming” the Capitol fizzed into puddles of lies.
MSNBC Live host Craig Melvin needed perhaps the most sympathy, given his hour of attacks on those in attendance. Repeatedly, he bashed the event by placing peaceful attendees alongside “militia groups” and “white nationalists” to tar and feather it as one of hate with “fears of a dangerous confrontation.”
