Jeff did a better job.  But...he did. 'Still cain't watch the stabbing the horse to keep going scene though. 'Don't know what it is about it, but it upsets me something terrible. Of course I know the girl's more important.

I liked the second one better. Great movie. The second one is not on TV tonight. I liked it when she and Blackie forded the river and met Rooster when he was getting off the ferry. Rooster said that she reminded her of him. I just ordered the Kindle edition of the book. I plan to read it again. It was one of the books that got me started reading.

Can not stand to watch the second one. I know its bc a bunch of it was filmed here (Granger) i know biased. But if you aint never had a film made where you live, it is so much BS!! Sometimes could'nt go to the PO to get your mail, had main street closed down. Any who like JW much better!!

I plan to give Cathy the hard copy as a stocking stuffer next Christmas. Mattie reminds me a lot of her at the age of 14. I'm sure a lot of you with daughters would say the same thing.
