I hunted hogs for years with dogs. Marriage ended that hobby. I set at home wishing I was chasing hogs for over 10 years. Black Friday I said I'm buying a muzzle loader. Always had an interest in them but never bought one. I hunted the grasslands a few times, lots of sign but no success. I got a lead on an East Texas day lease and today I went. Got one today at about 445pm. Not a huge one but a decent first. I'd guestimate about 125-150lbs.

That's not a muzzleloader!

Just messing with you! When I think muzzleloader I think traditional and patched round ball. Congrats!

The red hog was shot at about 15 feet, it was sleeping next to a laydown.

Thw white hog was about 30 feet, jumped it out of some brush. finished it off with a ,44 cal BP revolver.

Sorry could no rotate the first picture.
