Had a great trip hunting in Sonora Mexico for the 2nd time, we had 2 out of 4 guys kill, my deer went 190" and the aged him at 8-9yrs old and my cousin killed a 188" (it has a 4" drop under its left brow if you look closely) that was 9-10yrs, we actually saw a 210 but he ghosted us into the Palo Verde two mornings in a row, we were super happy with these old heavy warriors with tons of character. We hunted with Best of Mexico Hunting, Enrique Salmon was a great host and I highly recommend. The weather was upper 30s/low 40s in the morning with a high in the 70s....so basically perfect. The authentic mexican food was great but I will say "no mas Frijoles"! Lol....in some form or other we had beans 3 times a day with a combo of other fresh veggies and meat. Saw a herd of Desert Big Horns as well.

Congratulations on two outstanding bucks. What was it like getting to the ranch? Did you fly in or drive across the border?

We flew to Hermosillio and were picked up headed 45 mins North then an hour and 15 mins on a dirt road West.
