Why didn't the cop have his taser or gun out when the guy was dancing around in front of him acting like he was about the assault the officer? It also looked like the officer asked the dude "do you want me to get the dog out?"

Thankfully a good outcome. I question the practice of shutting the dog in the patrol car without the means to react if the handler can’t get back to the car to let him out.
