I have a Savage Stevens 200 chambered in .270 and was thinking of replacing the stock. Can anyone help me with finding a stock for it? I can’t seem to find one at all. I was leaning towards a walnut stock, but am open.

You will want to research it to confirm but I think any Savage 110-116 stock will fit. I know many of the other parts are interchangeable. If that’s the case there’s a good supply of stocks out there.

Thank you. Do you know of a way I can tell if mine is a center feed or staggered feed?

Post a pic if you’re not sure, but a center feed is going to just have one round directly on top of the other, and staggered is going to look staggered like a loaded AR/AK mag

I’d bet it’s staggered though.

I'm assuming that it's a staggered.

First, Savage and Stevens 200 are inter changeable. Both are 110 long action. Next if one round stacks directly on on top of the other, it is center fed. If the rounds slightly fit side to side is a staggered feed. Boyds probably the best selection for wood stocks. Hogues if you want something different.

I bought a cheapo Stevens 200 in 7MM 08 a few years ago, it had ugly synthetic stock. Ordered a walnut stock from Boyds. My gunsmith had to do a liitle whittling cause the stock you will need will be for the Savage model 12 maybe.....anyways same rifle...that rifle has been a beautiful tack driver for over 15 years.

I bought one of the Stevens 200s in 270 WIN a few years back when they were on sale at academy for $200. I've re-barreled it a few times and it now has a 6.5 Swede barrel. I put a Houge full bed stock on it, it's OK but not a great fit. I think I'm going to switch to a Boyds At-One stock. Seems like a great stock for the money. They list one specifically for the Stevens 200, top bolt release, long action, center-feed, blind mag.

Center feed actions are staggered just the top round comes out of the magazine in the center.
