Me and the wife have two boys and both were planned.

First planned. Second not so much.

I remember as a 19 year old kid, my girlfriend (now wife of 28 years) telling me she was pregnant with my oldest. I've never been that confused in my life and unsure of what my future would hold. It has held nearly 30 years of marriage with my best friend, 3 great kids (a school teacher, a firefighter, and youngest is still a student) and the joy of my life my Granddaughter. All of my kids were planned by God and he surprised me with each of them and they continue to surprise me daily.

First was a bit of surprise. Were trying but about to give up and do another ivf embryo transfer when we found out she was pregnant.

Number 2 was complete surprise.

They were born February and December of 2019

2020 New Years resolution was to not have a baby in 2020.

first 2 planed, the last one was a complete shock im still recovering from.

Both planned and got real lucky. Both healthy with a boy first and little sister next

Planned or not, kids are the biggest blessing in this life. Who they are = what they learn from us.

Nothing in this life humbles me like a kid.

First was planned....second was kinda sorta planned but order got changed and we got doubled up with twin girls

Love my kiddos, if I could go back and change anything I would prefer to have them closer together. Mine are 4 years apart.

Our oldest son was planned. For the second and last son we had an oops but it was all good. I wouldn't change a thing. Two gifts from God.

When we got married (both were 28), I told my wife if she wanted kids, we should not get married. Few years go by and I see my friends successfully doing it and appearing to enjoy it and we revisited the topic on a 6hr drive back to AR... I can tell you from the moment we decided "OK, let's do this..." the deed was done for both. Scary to think we were always that close to it as my wife was almost never on birth control. I'll add, if we had #2 first, we wouldn't have two boys today. Imagine having a 1-3 yr old ogre in your life.

While I have a few gray hairs now, I am available for my services should any of you need. Quick (almost like I wasn't there), only need one time, I'm 100% on males and my fee is almost just gratuitous. Offer only for my fellow THF'ers.
