Lots of water or a little water? I used a cheap concrete mixing tub that I found acceptable for 90% of where I walked in. Hard to beat a $15 tub for most spots.
The other 10% (deeper water and ripples) would have suited a small jet sled better. You definitely wouldn't want to pull a concrete tub behind a kayak, which I think you could do with a wide sled.

I use the Jet Sled. I have 2 of the smaller ones. They work pretty good if you're just pulling through shallow water. If you need to cover land, levees, etc, Use a wagon or something to pull the sled then transfer to the sled when you reach the water...
That's what I do on public land where there are lots of levee systems...
If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready!

I have the large size 54” Jet Sled. One of the best tools I have for marsh hunting.

X6 for Jet Sled. I bought the SUV model because it fits in the bed of my UTV and still holds all my gear which makes for easy transportation and loading/unloading. Might want to go with a narrower model for walk in hunting for less drag.

Cleaning and a couple of layers of silicone makes the bottom slippery and easier to pull.

Jet sled with gator glide. One of the only reason I take a sled on a walk-in hunt is if I know there is not going to be a dry place to set anything down. If I can go without it I will. If there isn't enough water to float the sled it's more trouble than its worth to drag it. Spend the money on a good decoy bag, pack the decoys in, leave minimum weight in the sled. I use a large beavertail and it works great not only as a sled but also as a cheap man's layout once in awhile with a piece of burlap or fastgrass. A suggestion I have regardless of the one you get is to use a different rope than what it comes with. Go with something a little bit thicker and cut long enough to where you can walk inside the rope and lean into it.
