I am looking at the Solitude jacket and bibs. Anyone have any experience with the company in general?

I have the Guide Pants and the merino wool base layers. Just got the Catalyst Jacket for Christmas. Overall very happy with what I have so far. The Guide Psnt is by far the best hunting pants I’ve ever had.

I have First Lite's guide pants, catalyst jacket, brooks sweater, and several other pieces. I also have gear from other hunting and Techinal apparrel manufacturers......Fisrt Lite is among my favorites.

Cant go wrong with FirstLite gear. I have the Sanctuary Insulated Bibs, Woodbury Insulated Jacket, Merino wool beanie, M's Merino-X Kiln Midweight 250 QZ, M's Merino-X Kiln Midweight 250 Boot Top Bottom in Black LG, Mountain Athlete Cold Weather Sock in Black Olive LG
Only thing I wear under the jacket is a Woolrich long sleeve shirt. NEVER have i gotten cold and I sit in a tree stands/box stand for 5-7 hours. Now granted where I hunt in NE Texas, the temperatures havent been extremely cold for the past 2 years. Bur for temperatures in the 20s/30s. I do fine. ONly thing I am changing is the BOOT top bottoms. They will slide up your leg.

Their base layers are the best in existence. I wear them around the house they're so comfortable.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

I am looking at the Solitude jacket and bibs. Anyone have any experience with the company in general? Socks and underwear where terrible for a while. They fixed some issues copying Kuiu by adding in synthetic, but durability is suspect still on those pieces. I think there are better sick and boxer companies out there. My favorite peice is the KLAMATH HOODY, I might pick up some of the zip off base to compare to kuiu They are owned by meateater now, and lines expanding so be cool to see if quality picks up

Yes icebreaker, smartwool and Firstlite. Sock wise, I was all smartwool Phd, with a little darn tough, farm to feet, Kuiu and first lite tossed in. Now mainly farm to feet. Only thing I pay full price for is farm to feet, although I bought my last few pairs from CamoFire for 50% off

I finished the newest episode in 1 day, driving to work and driving home. Then I’ve got about 15 more hours a week to listen to other podcasts.

Yeah I am kinda meh on Wired to hunt as well, although I will say I have enjoyed listening to his talk about the no-till crimper way of food plotting. Just listened to a podcast on that and it was informative. Regenerative soil, carbonomics, excellent stuff for the biologist in me.
My go to lately is Kifarucast, Deer University, Elk Talk, Rokcast but I skip around a lot and look for what suits my listening interests the best.
