For a very specific knife. It will need to be functional, tough, able to hold an edge and ready to work, rather than completely about aesthetics. It will be used in harsh conditions. Also prefer someone that is able to engrave and make Kydex sheaths. If this sounds like something you can do and are interested in, shoot me a message.

Thanks!

The Kydex requirement leaves me out but I'm sure someone here can help you out. Be sure and post pics when you get it made.

It sounds like Bush Monkey is the one you seek.

depends on what harsh conditions you are wanting for it to work in
i have a buddy who works at a feed store, they sell fertilizer and he won't even take stainless blades close to the fertilizer

i feel like i make a pretty good knife, i do kydex, but i don't do engraving
if you are wanting a knife that you can use as a pry bar, or some harsh conditions such as this, then i'm out on that
i make knives, i don't make prybars

thank you and best of luck with your endevour

Shane, what does fertilizer do to stainless?

Dave Stainless does contain properties that retard corrosion however under certain conditions Stainless Steel will still rust. There are some pretty harsh chemicals in Fertilizer that can and will destroy the integral properties of Stainless steel. One reason fertilizers are packaged and stored in plastics or plastic lined bags.
