I’ve got a gift card to Cabelas for $100... so it don’t have to come from there but it helps

It’s going on a Ruger M77 in 6mm

I’ve been torn, wanna keep it around $350-$400 max

I will never shoot it over 250 yards

I’m getting something this week

Been looking at Burris and Leupold.

Talk to me Goose

I'd look at the Weavers that are made in Japan. Natchez has them under your budget. The Japan made Weavers/Nitrix Scopes I own have great glass for the money, track well and hold zero.

If you could stretch your budget to $500, the Trijicon AccuPower 3-9x40 is incredible for the money.

I've been considering things in that price range too and found some of the Bushnell Nitros on their website. If u scroll half way down, there are some that a discounted heavily and not sure why. I would have totally gotten the sfp nitro in 2.5-10x44 for $199.

Here's the one I'm considering. Seems like a good deal.

But here's a whole list with some discounted heavily. I'm just trying to figure out why and what warranties are applicable.

I bought a Burris fullfield E1 4.5-14 for about $200 with the balistiplex reticle. Very happy with it.

I have that scope also, it's good. I also have a VX5 HD and a VX6. I have the CDS dial on all of them. With good data the dial is very accurate and works great for my set ups, so mechanically they are all solid. I had the VX3i out on my last PM hunt, and at 125 yards I could easily make out targets way past legal time for deer with good clarity.

All that said, I also have a Burris MTac 4.5-14 x 42. It was $279.00, free shipping. For clarity and light gathering, it's better than the VX3i. It also has 14x magnification. I have another Burris, it's also great and was about $250.00. At a price point under $400.00 Burris is better for me.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

I have this scope on my Savage and I've never thought about upgrading.
