I suspect most people seldom take the time to read each and every post in a thread but only focus on the OP and maybe the last one or two. Personally, I see no harm when a discussion brings additional points to mind. In fact, in many cases these later points lead to even more valuable discussion.

I agree. Welcoming valuable discussion and alternate debate. The same old same old can be a bit redundant which was my point.

i never miss, so no one else should ever miss either. if you do you're either irresponsible, need more practice, need to get closer, be a better shot, be a better hunter, quit shooting, quit hunting, quit posting, or read my blogs about what a great success i am.

actually i ALMOST missed these. keyword 'almost'. fortunately i took the thf class on how to make shots and influence bullets. i don't think i could miss even if someone slapped me on the back the instant i yanked the string..

That has absolutely zero to do with the original post. I would never risk that kind of shot on a buck over 13". I only get one of them per year. And I can't legally hunt them at night. I don't think you read the whole thread.

at a glance it just seemed like many comments were half cocked. my remarks were more out of sarcasm than actually trying to make a point. you can change the way you think or the way you feel about others, but you can't change others; nor does anyone have a right to.

you may recall some of the poking we did to each other back in the day. i've caught my share of grief for posting txhunter in a thong and revealing his fetish for midgets, putting rainbow tattoos on east and a djones tattoo on his girlfriend. not to meniton nav, txkiller, buck and others.
