Did a 10 lb bird on the smoker tonight. Turned out awesome. Served it with sweet potato casserole and stuffing. [Linked Image]

Negative. Washed it off with water, seasoned, stuffed with onion, butter, garlic, parsley, and rosemary and onto the smoker for 5.5 hours at 225. Wouldn’t do it any differently, it was great.

Salt lick bbq rub for this one. Usually I just use salt, pepper, and Julio’s chips seasoning for everything.

That Salt Lick rub is pretty spicy. I put too much on some ribs,and couldn’t eat them.

Learned the same lesson a while back. A light coating is plenty, no need to cover anything in it lol.
