We have a safe, that we think we know the combination for. The problem is how many times to you turn the dial for each number and do you go clockwise first and counter clockwise for the second number or the other way around.

Like advice from Custer on fighting Indians but I think Start @ 0 dial clockwise to the first number,then go counter clockwise past 0 to the second number, then past 0 to the third number and give it a hard kick.

Note: turn the dials but don’t spin them rapidly, which may cause the numbers to drift slightly (mine did).

What ever you do, dont get inside it and close the door. Heard one guy did that. They found him a few weeks later

On my safe you have to turn dial counterclock pass 0 several times then turn clockwise past the first number twice stopping on the 3rd time then counterclockwise past the second number once stopping on the second time then clockwise t last number. I only have 3 numbers.

on mine , it doesn't matter how many times clockwise on the first number ( at least 3 , I think) it starts to feel a little tight when it is ready,
then counterclockwise past zero twice , then clockwise past zero once , then counterclockwise to the final number,
this is where my safe is a little strange, I should be done but it won't open , but slowly go clockwise about 10 clicks , with pressure on the handle , and
it unlocks.
