Deer lease needed $2500 finders fee
Our group is looking for a new lease for the 2020-2021 season and hopefully longer. Our current lease is between Junction and Rocksprings and is being sold out from under us. We are a good group of guys that are family oriented, so if wife and kids are not allowed to hunt off your tags we would not be interested. We would love to stay in the hill country. The lease needs to have a camp house, RV hook ups would also be a plus. Year long lease with exotics is also necessity. If you have anything in the region or know of any leases that will need hunters that next season we will pay $2500 to whom ever gives us the tip that leads us to a signed lease contract. We did this last time we found our current lease and it worked out great, the land owner just ended up being a flop. Thanks for any and all help.

That sucks, so the landowner sold his land or leased out to another group, presumably at a higher price? Were there any indicators during the season that this would/could happen? Out of curiosity did your group do anything that may have been construed as violating the lease agreement? If not, then he does sound like a real flop for sure. Good luck with your search...

He sold the land. Never indicated that he was selling. Some of our guys went out to do some work and there were surveyors out there. They said they were splitting the 2700ac into 100ac parcels for the buyer. We just signed a 5yr lease a month before also. We put in about 25k in improvements on the property also. The only issues we had were of the land owner sending some of his friends out to the property when we weren’t there to hunt. It was part of our lease agreement to let him know when any of us were going out there, but anyone else hunting was not part of the agreement. The new owners let us finish the season because he felt bad how the previous owner treated us, so now we’re looking for a new place. If needed we can get the new owner to vouch for us. They are really good people, they just are developers. One of them manages quite a few big corporate ranches in junction and was really impressed with our camp and hunting set ups. We are all game management minded hunters and just enjoy the experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
