Just wondering, anyone have good recipes that they would like to share?

my wife makes some of the best salsa I have ever tasted, got the recipe from an older Mexican lady she worked with back in the early 1980s ... she's been doing it so long, no recipe, just dump a bunch of stuff in the blender, then taste. I know it has canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, fresh Serrano peppers brought to a low boil, de-stemmed, garlic salt and cumin ... and sometimes she adds in fresh cilantro ... don't have measurements but it comes out a quart blender full. She normally makes up that size batch and pours about half into one container, then adds another pepper or two in the second half for me.

Guess what I cooked? confused2

Edit Oops. I made my own for years. I made 8 pints per batch. I used tomatoes, jalapeños, and onions from my garden I added tomato paste, sugar, salt, and vinegar.

I feel like Dad would want you to have his recipe. I’ll shoot you a pic when I get home.
