50mm Bell
56mm Bell

in INCHES, whats the gap= ??

need to decide on ring height. These are Seekins Mediums, great fit with a little room over barrel.

I'm going to a 56mm Bell trying to decide if I will have to go highs. juggle

You may have failed math but you didn’t fail computer literacy 101, google is your friend (sometimes).

Yes, round to a 0.25” and you have your difference.

You would be increasing the total diameter of the bell so the bottom would only move 3mm closer to the barrel, not 6mm. 3mm is 0.118" which is barely less than 1/8th of an inch.

Think about it like adding bigger tires to your truck. If you go from 33" to 35", your sidewall will only by 1" taller.

measure the current distance between your scope and your barrel. If it is 4mm or more then you are good to go. They make calipers and tape measures in mm. Us one of them and you should be good to go.

Think about googling the specs on both scopes and reading the outside diameter for each. It will not likely be 6mm since one is a Zeiss and the other a NF. Subtract the zeiss From the Night Farce and divide by two.

There are 25.4mm in an inch. Like okstatefan said, the difference in the two scopes is 6mm so you have to cut that in half as the larger scope takes more room on both the top and bottom. By dividing 25.4 into 3, you get .118"
