Does any one know what kind of prices raccoon hides are going to be at this season in East Texas Western Lousiana? They haven't been worth a flip in many years so I don't expect any change. One can always hope though? Thanks for any information you can give me.

Until the Chinese and Russian economies improve, demand is low. I would expect 5-7 bucks for Texas raccoons at the NAFA.

That sounds exciting ntxtrapper, I figured about $2 to $4 dollars a hide.

I was talking about prime and big LOL. Average will likely be 4-5. It will come back someday.

Any idea on Bobcat hides right now? usually call 15-20 a year but don’t shoot unless fur price is decent. Took a few last year but prices were not that great probably average 40.00

You might look and see what Petska has online for prices, they usually have some prices on their facebook page. I feel for you all taking bobcats down that way, ours bring a premium, about $250 minimum for average cats stretched and dried. We've received up to $375 on a nice one a few years back and know of a trapper getting $1,200 a piece at auction for his. You can message Petska and they will answer you about prices.
