I wish Mercado Juarez’s sauce kept longer. Theirs has always been my favorite Probably no preservatives like others. Stuff is good but can't hold a candle to my homemade. Homemade only lasts about 2 weeks. Salt is only preservative in mine.

My clans favorite is Herdez Salsa Casera, excellent as is but normally I take it to the next level by adding fresh chopped onions, chopped cilantro and some garlic salt. Almost a hybrid pico de gallo/ salsa.
I get asked to bring this to parties and to deer camp all the time.
