Slick sixes all need to be shot, or they'll take over the herd genetically

I shot a 6 back in the early 1990's that grossed 124". He had good mass and 24" beams. AND he was barely a 6, his brow tines were only 1.5" long so he would have been a 121" 4pt if he hadn't grown them! I'll take a pic sometime for you guys

Buddy of mine bought a 900 acre hunting place this summer near Brackettville. The focus this season was to get rid of as many cull bucks as we could. In November I shot a 6 with short tines that would never be much. On camera he had several with no brow tines and he definitely wanted those out. The last weekend of the south zone season I broke in the Nosler 6.5x284 and dropped one of those, a 6 with no dog catchers:

Slick sixes all need to be shot, or they'll take over the herd genetically Please explain??? We kill them all anyway, but take over the genetics of the herd? We've got lots of bucks young and old with 8,9,10+++ points. How are the few sixes going to dominate those genetics?
