I repaired a Remington Bullet folder a few years ago and found the pins to be the biggest hurdle, due to the fact they can't go all the way through like on a fixed blade. No issues with going pinless on your folders or were those pinless to start with? They sure look good. That post oak is stunning! up

When I'm wandering in the woods I've tried many gadgets to deal with the tangled mess. I finally settled on a medium cheap Bowie. A machete is too comber some. Here are 2 cheap ones I use. Both are post oak.

I forgot to respond to this. Use a good(I use loctite) fresh epoxy and prep the blade and scales and they'll stay on. I'm not saying the scales won't ever come off but most knife companies make a knife with glued on scales and no pins.

These are glued on also. Knife is a Remer/Stone Buck.
