I enjoy the show. I don't see them ever finding anything substantial, but its an intriguing story and very cool watching them uncover all those hundreds of years old structures and watch them try different ways to locate it. Ive been a big fan since day one.

I've watched it from day one and enjoy it. My wife will walk in when it's on and ask what are they not finding this week!

Real or fake, they sure spend a TON of $ with all of their endeavors. I like it. They do need to change the opening of the show though about the death legend. That part’s dumb.

Makes me want to buy a metal detector every episode. I just wish there were legendary stories like that around here.

The advertisers have paid the money, and have also paid the actors well. When the show slips down on the views, the advertisers wil start baling, and they will either find the treasure, or call it a hoax.

Want a legendary story about treasure? Get 2 or 3 old guys together and they can create some doozies.

So I guess they went out and dug areas up and put some of the old wood structures in and then covered it all up then go hunting for it?

How many times did they edit that film to make it kook like they found something? Did it really come from below the earth or did they add it during the editing? It is entertainment, like a movie they can give you what they think you want to see. Fake news or in this case creative editing for entertainment. up

So you think they spent all that money on a retaining wall, dug a holes and put that wood framing there edited the film around that to make you believe they legitimately found it? Spend all that money boring holes look for wood then placed it in the plastic bags to mislead viewers?

I think it’s a highly edited version of reality. They have to keep the “non dorks” interested long enough to watch the commercials. Me, I think they hooked me with their heavy dose of skepticism early on, and get excited when a “Bobby Dazzler” shows up every now and then. Plus I watch it in the background while I do other things. Easier that way

This show is like watching the Cowboys thinking they will make it to the Super Bowl in your lifetime!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
