Has anyone seen any rutting action in Jim wells county or the surrounding areas?
The rut has kicked off around this time the past few years, but haven't seen any chasing yet. Been hunting all week

I haven’t seen any chasing, but there are 3 new bucks that have shown up in the past two weeks, so I’m thinking that it’s that time.
If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

Saturday and Sunday bucks were chasing in Falfurrias.
Our place is in southern most Jim Wells county.
Should be on fire later this week. I’ll update what I see Thursday

Just got back. Warm weather wasn’t great but there was chasing and had a great time rattling in some bruiser eights.
Mature bucks are on the prowl.
