I had the tv on the Outdoor channel last night and was doing some stuff in the kitchen when I hear them say big buck just showed up. So I stop what I was doing and go look at the tv just in time for me to see the shot. I immediately see a doe standing right behind the buck and boom . The buck drops and the doe does the mule kick Now being an outdoor show they know who the majority of the people watching are and they know that they just shot 2 deer with one shot. So after they show the guy holding his buck they then go to the next scene which is Jackie and the guys at the kitchen table for their interview as they talk about the show.

Here is where it really gets good. They mention the doe behind the buck and the guy that shot proceeds to say how he was on one side of the blind with a clear view of the buck and the camera man on the other side of the blind and that the doe wasn't in the line of fire . Then the guy that shot the buck starts saying he wanted to try and take the doe after she ran off but the cameraman couldn't get on her . SMH...

I understand as well as most of you probably do that mistakes happen, but to blatantly make up some total crap to try and cover up your mistake on an unethical shot is a disgrace to the hunting community.

His show is a bad joke

After a few seasons they all try their hand at “acting”. Ruins it for me.

I'm surprised that he's still on the air. I watched a few episodes, but all he does is talk and try to sell stuff. Shame that they have gotten to the point of not even bothering to edit out their screw ups.

The Jackie Bushman Show is as bad as the Home Shopping Network! God forbid you enter any of his contest. You only be asking for calls from them trying to raise money or sell stuff to you. I had to put the on a No Call List!

Yep get a call at least once a month. Pretty annoying.

I saw that episode and knew immediately they hit the doe too. What a joke in the interview explanation. Idiots but hey Bushman tries to cater audience to the newbies, no thanks.

Tried to watch him several times never made it past the first five minutes.

Went through it myself. Enter one of their contests and then they call you for an eternity trying to get you to buy stuff. Too bad, I still enjoy some of his old peers like David Blanton but not Jackie. Jackie was ok as an outdoor show but then he started thinking he was some kind of celebrity and people wanted to see him get scared by rubber snakes and attacked by guard dogs etc.

I made the mistake of entering their big buck contest about 12 years ago. Got a call shortly thereafter from an area code I didn't recognize. I stepped out of a meeting to take the call and when I realized what the call was and that they were trying to sell me something I tried to politely let them go so I could get back to my meeting. The dude got his back up and then tried to shame me into spending money with him. I hung up on him and have never watched another episode. That shoe is the worst hunting show on TV and it ain't close.

Most of these shows are just for entertainment. They have to make money to stay active. There are many good videos on youtube, by real hunters, if that is your thing.

I don't know anything about Jackie Bushman but I can't handle anything on Pursuit Channel Tv.....Way too many commercials, way too much phony enthusiasm and bad acting. I can find better things to do with my time.

That is what the DVR is for, record and skip the commercials.

My son does video for outdoor shows, and has to provide 13-17 minutes of content for each episode. The other half is all advertising, and a lot of times they cut his portion.

I thought most if not all the hunting shows were more infomercials than anything else.

You should try guiding him, I had the unfortunate opportunity to guide him about 10 years ago.

Don't ever sign up for his magazine!! It took me 2 years and multiple cussing matches to get them to quit bothering me!
