Hogs have been pretty slow for me lately, due to the over abundance of acorns in the heavily wooded area I like to hunt. Last night I was sitting in a stand just a little before 2 a.m. watching and about 50 of them came in at feeders between 50 and 100 yards away from me. They were all fat as all get out from all they have been getting to eat lately. I sat and watched them for about 1/2 hour, trying to find a large one in the bunch....and finally gave up and shot this guy. Due to the heavy cover, I only get one shot and they have disappeared. I walked over to another blind about 1/4 mile from this one and sat there for a while, but no action. I went out this morning checking on stuff, and I doubt one kernel of corn was gone ! The hogs and deer have flat disappeared again...

That one looks to be a pretty good size.
Seven Hundred is probably at least five times what I've shot in my lifetime.
