Reading a little more it sounds like they don’t want you taking a head with you except to a taxidermist if harvested in the containment zone. So are you not required to keep proof of sex or do they issue you something at the check station?

Fortunately our place is west of this zone but what concerns me is the close proximity.

Don't fret about it, anthrax is much more deadly to the deer herd and humans.......this disease has always been around deer herds IMO.
