Did a little ground stalk yesterday evening, got onto a group in the briars, tough to see or move but managed to shoot 2 and recovered this Big Mama. I watched a bunch of about 50 of them for about 1/2 hr. the other night before deciding which one to shoot. I would bet about 3/4 of the bunch were really fat and probably pregnant females ! With all they have to eat now and lots of places to hide in deep cover, they are just fattening up and living the good life...for a hog at least. Glad to see you getting one on the ground, and we are all going to have our work cut out for us as the acorns disappear as we are going to have lots of babies running around !
