I don't know who this person is, but who was the other person shooting? Was that you? just curious.
Anytime I am hunting with a first time hunter/thermal hunter, I try to get as close as possible. Might not have been possible with the recent full moons, but what do you think the distance was on that hog? Seemed around 100+ on the final zoom out, but hard to tell with the mag. At night, you should be able to get around 60ish yards on a feeding hog, give that girl a chance to make a better shot.
And please tell her next time to level the gun when she shoots, it makes a difference. Couldn't tell if the second shooter actually got the first hit or if it was her. Either way, congrats on a good hog and a first time, hopefully addicted, night time hog hunter.
