Warning to All
I just got back from a hunt with Rick at North Texas Game Hunts.
This guy Rick is one heck of a smooth talker to get you to book with him,
says all the right things and answers all the hard questions right.
However the reality of him being full crap sat in the first afternoon.
Well kind of Rick, paid him but he didnt answer phone or return calls until
3rd.day of hunt. Instead he sent his friend to meer us and show us our hunting areas.
His friend Lonnie had no clue. Rick told him we were bowhunting and only 2 hunters.

Rick claimed to have 5500 acres leased near Wheeler. However he would only let us hunt the same stands over and over.
The 3 different locations totaled 1000 acres.
On 2 of the properties the box blinds are only 400 & 600 yards apart. You can see your buddy in his stand and also cover 50% of the same area.
All of the feeders were set to go off once per day and the time was off.
One feeder didn't even work in one stand location at all.

Is was evident he didn't have the property or the deer he claimed to have when I booked.
The locations were over hunted and shot out. Showed us pictures of bucks at night, last time I checked you couldn't deer hunt at night.
I did end up shooting a decent 9pt just because I thought I might not see another buck.
Logged 14 hunts combined in our group and only 2 legal bucks seen.
The bucks had went nocturnal.due to being over pressured.
Although Rick said no they just weren't moving, but every hunt you could here shots from other property, meaning they were moving elsewhere, just not on his leased land.

Do not book with North Texas Game Hunts unless you really feel like getting your blood pressure up.

Yes I could there is good hunting around. While sitting in the stands we would here shots.
However Rick doesnt have the amount of land leased he claimed and overhunts the leases.
His helper Lonnie said yeah this is a good stand we have taken 3 bucks and 2 doe out of it in the past 2 weeks.
With 2 being taken the day before he put me in it.
But said oh yeah we have alot more great bucks coming in here.
